The Drouthy Neebors, St Andrews

Yea, its a decent pub. Of course, any pub is going to struggle when its in the same town as Aikmans Cellar bar, but Drouthys does it well. Not particularly good choice of beer though.
Can aquire blow up sheep (as well as other items) from vending machines in the toilet.

The Gin House, St Andrews

I quite like it, while you wouldn't want all the drinking establishments in st andrews to be like this, its good to have the one there just to add variety.
That said, it has been over a year since I last went there, and I cant remember what the beer selection is like. I appologise.

The Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill

I neglected to mention there did seem to be marginally better variety of beers than you normally expect in similar chain pubs.

The Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill

I once saw Brian May in this pub, so it can't be that bad I guess.
However, another time some guys came up to the bar when there was just me waiting, and the barman must've known this, but he served the other guys first. I didnt think that was nice of him.

The Prodigal, City Of London

Its ok. It has an upstairs and a downstairs and you can buy alcoholic beverages there to drink.
Has a flat screen TV on the wall.

Aikmans / The Cellar Bar, St Andrews

The best stocked bar in town, particularly for bottles of foreign beers.
Also very helpful and obliging staff. I recall a friend of mine asking if they had any J&B whiskey, which he had been inspired to start drinking after watching 'American Psycho'. They didnt have any, but the next time we were in there, they did, they'd ordered in a bottle since we'd asked for it. How cool is that?
The selection of beers does vary, but theres bound to be something decent, dark, strong and foreign for you to spend the night with.
There should be more pubs like this.

The Crosse Keys, Bank

At first, you walk in and are very much like 'wow, this is big, innit'. It used to be a bank didnt it. Its the biggest pub in the city, dont you know.
Anyhow, I dont like how from most of the tables the bar is a distant spot on the horizon. I think they should have two bars there.
Had bottles of leffe and duvel, cant remember what they had on tap.
A word of warning. Dont allow yourself to end up here when its nearly empty as this will emphasise the large high-ceiling emptyness of the place and make you feel insignificant, sad, empty and alone in this life, so very very alone.

Essex Yeoman, Upminster

Im not sure the low rating is entirely deserved. If we're honest, none of the pubs in upminster are amazing, why's this one so much worse than the others?
Ok, i agree the toilets DO honk quite a bit, and the view of the road, station and bins is far from breath-taking, but its got pool tables, TVs, a few beers, and ive had a few enjoyable drinks from the tables by the windows. After a couple, the view starts to grow on you.

The Masons Arms, Upminster

Its alright, the masons.
3 pool tables, always a crowd pleaser.
Don't look anyone in the eye. Apart from the barstaff.

Huntsman and Hounds, Upminster

Decent, though not as good as before the refurbishment, back when the legend Dave manned the bar. Beware of annoying kids whose parents abandon them on the sofas while they go and get langered.
