The Greyhound Inn and Hotel, Honiton

This old coaching inn has been around for ever. In Doomsday book even. Pity that the last managers ran it into the ground. Hanging is too good for the likes of those who are hollowing out all the English countryside's institutions for the sake of faceless corporates in sterile towers in god-awful conurbations.

The Seven Stars, Falmouth

Proper pub. Would get 5 for the mobile ban. 5 more for the WGGA & well-kept beer. And 10 for the decor. 20 out of 10.

Jacobs Ladder, Falmouth

One from the art college days. Has been renovated but not totally wrecked. Similar clietele. Beer in very good nick. Been up the ladder many a time but still never down it.

Bucket Of Blood, Phillack

Top notch pub, best in Hayle. HSD in perfect order. Excellent food. Gets a lot of folk from the campground in season so an everchanging crowd.

St. Buryan Inn, Penzance

A rare find this. An honest-to-goodness classic old school country pub. Good service, good food, good ale. Don't change a thing please.
