Initially seemed a nice pub for a Sunday lunchtime pint, with a good selection of ales. Unfortunately the quiet lunchtime pint was spoilt when the tv was switched on and loud enough to make conversation a strain. As the rear half of the pub was set up for eating, there was no escape. Shame.

Still probably the best all round pub in town but it's not as good as it used to be and the prices are getting silly (�3.90 for a glass of Chardonnay). Good selection of decent beer & good atmosphere.

The Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel
In need of some TLC, good beer but shame that the wine only comes in "airline" style miniatures.

The Lamb Inn, Angmering
My first visit since The Lamb has been refurbished. They've managed to maintain the character of the pub whilst updating the decor. Good beer and a top notch restaurant, not cheap but well worth it.
