user reviews of the Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Extremely large hotel with 2 bars that dominates one side of the High St.

However it was closed at 5.30pm even though there were a couple sitting in the lounge area no-one came to the bar area to serve.

So there’s nothing to comment on and my opinion it that’s poor having a bar open but no-one to serve.

The place scores 1/10 and that's just for the building!

Agree with will_fly, The place is not very wellcoming,When we where there the chef said no more food at 1-50pm,When they do food till 2-oo At least 5 food orders lost and the people walked out
Disgustig way to run a bar

Why doesn't someone put a bloody bomb under the front bar in this lovely old hotel? I've been in several times in the early evening in the winter - to a miserable, piddling fire. Beer is OK but the atmosphere is morbid.

In need of some TLC, good beer but shame that the wine only comes in "airline" style miniatures.

Whilst staying at the hotel we popped into the Town bar for a bite to eat but it was far too smoky to stay. The Hotel bar was much more pleasant and i thoroughly recommend the omelettes.
