We've had decent good value meals here in the past but last time, a couple of week-ends back, we gave up waiting to be served and left....

We had excellent meals here the other week-end and would highly recommend it. My third of lamb was delicious! Staff provided friendly and efficient service and everything was well laid out and inviting. Dogs allowed in the public area.

The Musgrave Arms, Shillington
The Tuesday Steak Night is well worth a visit. We've always enjoyed meals here and like the atmosphere. Dogs are allowed in the public bar too.

We enjoyed a Sunday lunch here a few weeks back. The food was excellent and the service OK. The interior is lovely and everything was well laid out and inviting. Definitely recommend a visit.

The Gloucester Arms, Great Offley
We went a couple of weeks ago for the Sunday Carvery and our experiences varied. The roast beef was tough to the point we gave up trying to cut it. The pork, apparently, was delicious. All the vegetables were good. The desserts were average. The interior was bright and sunny and the staff friendly.

We know lots of people who do enjoy the food here. Perhaps we've been unlucky but we've yet to have an above average meal and the last one was poor.
In addition my wine glass was filthy! The views from the back are wonderful and would recommend for drinks only.

The Raven, Hexton
Food is average, service is good. The beer garden is lovely but the interior lacks the character it once had. Lovely village setting next to the cricket club and worth a visit.
