| We managed to get in just before closing time on Saturday night (the lamp was lit!) after a long day at the beer festival in the castle. This is quite different from any other pub in Ludlow - an elegant parlour pub in an attractive Georgian building. Sadly the parlour itself had closed for the day but the tastefully-decorated kitchen bar was still busy.
