Myself and a work colleague popped in for 2 beers on a Wednesday afternoon after a local meeting.

Full range of Brew Dog ales that as mentioned by a previous reviewer are not cheap, I had 2 pints of their Electric India @ 5.2% that was almost £5.00 per pint.
Good bottle selection also available from both Brew Dog and other craft breweries.

This is a mecca for Brew Dog and craft beer geeks like all of their other bars are, you either like Brew Dog or you don’t and if you do then you need to be prepared for their high prices….after all it’s mugs like me that pay these prices.

Have you seen Harry Enfield's 'I saw you coming' ? This is the beer equivalent. Really just an expensive, pretencious Starbucks for beer geeks.

The thing with brewdog is, it's exactly what you describe when you plan out your perfect pub on a beermat with a bookies pen after about eight pints. The thing is, it's lacking that je ne sais quoi (that's French) that make it somewhere you could spend an entire evening. The beer's good. The staff are nice and they know what they're talking about. The food is fine, the decor and interior are fine and the music's good. However, it will never be anyone's 'local' because it has no individual character, it's the same as all the other Brewdogs. Also, if you don't know anything about beer but know what you like then for God's sake read the booklets that are strewn about because you don't want to be asking the bar staff for something 'like Tetleys' or 'similar to a Stella'. They will give you a look which Medusa would have been proud of.

Not so sure about the Brewdog concept - a bit of a "Starbucks of Real Ales" whiff about it all and both myself and my husband found many of the beers a bit too hoppy on the palate. Have heard they have opened another bar in Camden which I hope to visit soon.

A place that has apparently over the years changed hands as well as names regularly now in the capable and controlling management of the Brew Dog team.

Came in late on a Wednesday afternoon, a real hip place with quality beer as you would expect with the Brew Dog brand in full effect and I was already a fan before coming here!

Aswell as Brew Dog beers on tap and in bottles there were guest beers and the Mikkeller I had was excellent.

As with Brew Dog their beers are not cheap but the bar's are really decent and the beer ain't bad to!
