user reviews of Globe Bar, Chiswick

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Normally fairly quiet, shows most major sport. Main thing is it does rather nice cocktails which are worth a trip on their own.

It is a good hotel bar and doesn't try to be anything else. Plenty of decent pubs nearby if you're looking for ales instead.

I agree, for hotel bars this is great. Beutiful decor, great menu, friendly staff and the comfyest chairs in the world. Certainly not a night out in itself but great starting place

Pretty good hotel bar, especially given it's location next to the chiswick roundabout. Useful start/stop point for chiswick night out and some unusual bottled bars. Staff pretty friendly and punters generally polite & quiet.

The Globe Bar is incorporated into the Chiswick Moran Hotel. I only suggested it to BITE as it has its own entrance and local residents and passers by are all welcome.

It is very relaxing, but it does really feel like a hotel bar, with prices to match (3.25 for a pint of Fosters). The flat screen TVs with videos of fish floating in an aquarium just about sum the place up.

My ale drinking pals hit the Leffe (2.85ish a half) when we pop in here, as the ale selection isnt that great (I cant actually remember seeing any).

Nice for a cheeky couple of pints at lunchtime, but Im not sure Id be that excited about spending a whole evening here.
