| Very disappointing food indeed. We dined on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant wasnt busy, maybe a quarter full. Had to wait nearly 15 minutes to be served drinks (they had run out of many draught lagers including Peroni) and the food when it did arrive (took 45 minutes) was very poor. I had the fishcakes and they were soft and mushy and I couldnt detect any fish at all in them � essentially bland potato cakes. I would have actually mentioned this to a member of staff had one attended our table again or asked, but they were very uninterested in their customers. Not recommended I�m afraid. | I like the atmosphere, good lighting, friendly staff. Good selection of bar food and a separate restaurant area. All low level seating which can feel a bit strange, and the drinks aren't the cheapest in Southampton... but lovely outdoor seating for the summer months. helen168 - 15 Dec 2006 14:04 |
