| Sadly, this beautiful , thatched pub closed a year and a half ago. Apparently there is planning permission for it to become residential, with the old barn also converted into a one bed house. | Nice traditional pub oak-beamed pub with a reasonable, if unimaginative, menu. I wouldn't call the food cheap but it is hot and the portions are decent. The smallish bar area can get a bit crowded with regs but thats not so bad. Some of the furniture could definitley do with a refurb but a large garden with goldfish and terrapin populated pond (keep your eye on your toddlers) and plenty of parking make it nice in the summer.
