Excellent news: Regulars are now being hosed down once a week in the car park! Beer prices as reasonable as you are going to get in Surrey - to the earlier post - yes we are all lottery winners/inheritance brats. I am typing this from my throne constructed of solid gold with diamond encrusted legs! Di is lovely, you'll find she's actually English and is not or has ever partaken in the bi-century Godalming Highland Games. Barman's on his phone but the customer's should probably be more charismatic. In all honesty great pub, great food and always a fun time to be had. blondwitch - 21 May 2013 20:18 |
What a fantastic surprise to find such a nice homely, dog friendly pub at the end of the high street. Pricing was above average but still reasonable given the atmosphere the polite and friendly staff created. Food was wonderful and much more delicious than is expected from "pub grub". Would (and have) recommended to many people. Pissedmuch - 21 May 2013 20:06 |
Went in with 7 friends last night before going to the thai passion ( excellent ) down the road. He is still on his f...ing phone behind the bar. 8 drinks 38 pounds. A 125 ml of cheap Bulgarian wine 4.20 ! What a joke. Nice to see Timothy Taylors Landlord on though, and it was excellent - 3.80. roselily - 4 Oct 2012 09:09 |
