Certainly now Falmouth's flagship pub after St Austell brewery have refurbed the place.

The location is of course lovely but I was also impressed with the pub inside too although finding the toilet is a little hard.

Great to sit outside or in.

Currently closed for a very substantial refurbishment......the place has been gutted which includes the accommodation above the pub.

Scheduled to reopen in the 'spring' 2017.

This was a fine pub gone so downhill. The cask was eye-watering overpriced and it tasted like vinegar. My wife phoned. I told her how much i paid for the acetic acid whilst stood at the bar in full earshot of the barmaid. The barmaid looked embarrassed and ran off to the other side of the pub. Not good.

Really enjoy supping here especially if the weather is good. Beer and food spot on and dog friendly.

Traditional 'below decks' decor - fishing nets, ships wheels and pics of a nautical nature. Fantastic outside seating area. A brilliant place to have a pint or two in the sun.
