Decent pub with hockey shirts plastered to the ceiling, uninspiring ale choice, but nothing wrong with the quality.

Decent enough place, good choice of ales.

Visited early on in the evening before i went to see James Morrison at the Trent FM Arena, a gorgeous little London-esque pub, which i was not expecting at all from the outside. They had scented candles on every table, lights dimmed, great music on (James Morrison) and the beer was delicious, my friend had wine which was a little pricy but hey! The toilets are painted like Cow-Skin, dead funky little touch. Shame it got mega busy and we had to go to concert because i could have stayed in there all night.

Wonderful pub. A true gem in the centre of Nottingham.

Great pub! Has really turned a corner this year, friendly staff, great real ales and lovely atmosphere. Staff feel more like friends than barmen/women and are always accomadating. I hate to say it but this has really turned into a home from home, with fresh papers everyday, and a LCD TV strategically placed as not to ruin the atmosphere. Its the kind of pub you go to for a conversation, not just a drink. Caters for the MATURE student and working crowd! Great for meeting people! Will be swinging by tonight...say hi, I will be the good looking one standing at the bar!

Liked it here. Good beer from the Nottingham Brewery and a pleasant attractive room.

1st time i have ever been in 19/04/08 i think they may have a problem with the toilets the whole place stank of urine i had to go and sit outside with the smokers , shame because it's a nice pub , just needs bleach & toilet blocks .

well i am really disappointed visited these premises and was met by a very rude bar waiter who was more concerned on playing on his computer than serving me
and my friend the place itself is very nice so may i suggest you teach your staff some manners

First time in since the refurb-beer was excellent as normal-nice to see what your drinking, due to the extra lighting/window space...Had the Archers which was a top drop.

Visited yesterday for the first time, pleasantly busy, good beer choice. Barman asked whether I wanted sparkler removed for my pints [I did], long time since anyone volunteered to do this!

Been in for the first time since the refurb. It used to look like a big room with too many tables in it. It's all much more tasteful now - if tasteful is your thing (not my thing really). But it's bright and welcoming. It still has several beers to choose from in very good condition. I didn't look at the menu, I was more interested in beer at the time, but the stuff being scoffed at the next table looked good. I'll reserve judgement until I've been in on a Friday or Saturday night.

Hello friends and customers, Just to let you all know that Bunkers Hill is currently closed for a refurb and is due to open on 10th September 2004. We will be re opening as an up to date Real Ale venue, with a great choice of food from our new menu and some great live music too. We would like to thank everybody (yes, even you Richard Studney) for supporting us over the last 8 months and hopefully we will see you September 10th. Thanks again.

Its a fantastic pup that has just been refubished and looks fab! you must go for a pint there the beer is the best around.

A very friendly pub, with a wide selection of cask ales which follow the saying - "Good beer isn't kept, it's sold". One of the best pints of bitter I've ever had, from a selection which changes weekly. Run by a pleasant couple with friendly bar staff. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the town centre and as such is sometimes a bit quiet. But perhaps that's not so bad after all. . .

Great pub converted from a former Barclays Bank.

They serve 6 or 7 cask ales and good value/quality food. Ideal for the Nottingham Arena
