Been dinking in Nottingham city centre since the age of 15 can honestly say I have not missed many Saturday nights in Nottingham in the last 27 years , so if your inviting me to a wedding / birthday party and its on a Saturday night don�t bother there�s only 52 Saturdays in a year I don�t like to miss any .

In the past me and my wife both early 40s dressed well / few bob i my pocket have never made it past the door staff members only / regulars only etc.
There's only Skin and Bluue left open now on Broadway there was only the bar staff and the doorman @ 10pm on a Saturday night in Skin which gave me a little chuckle .
I would have loved to review this bar , but having never been aloud in the past , i was not going to start now !!

The Shepherds Rest, Lower Bagthorpe
The best Sunday carvery i have had in Nottingham for years , the turkey tasted like it used to tasted many moons ago , the amount of meat they give you would feed a family of four , lovey old fashioned pub i was even sat on a slope !! A very well run establishment lots of young friendly waiting staff , they actually looked like they enjoyed working there , which was a pleasant change .
Well recommended it gets a 10 from me .
