Good city centre pub... Caters for all really. Big screens, good cheap food, decent beer and live entertainment at night. Whenever I've been in there always seems to be a decent mix of people to.

Live music, good atmosphere, best Guinness in town (2.70), cheap spirits, open later than most other pubs, handy location, "Irishness"

Not sure that "All_Hail_The_Ale" was in the right pub.

O'Neill's Leicester sells real ales and doesn't have a pool table.

I've never seen his alleged "chav" element either.

Might want to lay off the ale slightly if you can't get the basic details right.

"Irish Theme Pub" that's about as Irish as Barack Obama.

In its favour, this place does attract a strong townie / chav following - thereby keeping them out of the better city boozers.

Usually rammed on a Friday / Saturday night, so they obviously know their customer base.

Oh, and you can play pool here.

No real ale.

its an irish theme pub, nothing truely irish about it at all. the food is about the best thing it does, if you want a cheap meal deal that actually tastes ok. range of drinks is adequate, and they do do a double for an extra 1. good news for the numerous alcoholics that frequent the establishment.

Fond memories of the Crown and Thistle linger in my brain. Once one of Leicester's best pubs. Then it was turned into this place. It does deals on burgers and a beer. Enough said.

Went into the pub last week and it was full of townie tossers, the bar staff were useless, it took ages to be served, atmosphere did not exist, the covers band they had on were crap. The best thing about the pub was the exit door.

Pedro, can you confirm if it was the Leicester O'Neill's you are on about, or is it the London one you put in your post?

Bouncers with hugh attitude,I was not allowed to get in once because i was alone (and the reason is ???) lack of atmosphere, over rated the less irish pub you could find in London.Avoid it as hell

Good Pub, Bar staff always happy to have a chat (as long as your not rude to them)excellent for live sport with a huge screen with crystal clear picture, plenty of drinks offers with the best being the pint with food absolute bargin.

I like it. Good cheap food, for instance, a jacket spud with bacon and beans and a pint 2.75 (if I remember rightly) Friendly staff. A welcome addition is a new projector that you can see the picture on (not like the last one) They allways seem to have offers on drinks too. Not really for the uber trendy though.

A wicked pub with something for everyone, live sport/music, Sunday music quiz, great food (with a free drink!!!!) and floor service. Late night license friday and saturday and its free and also there is something about a free function room, don't know too much about that as never needed it plus beer is great!
