The Kings Arms, Sandy

i've lived in sandy for most of my life. i've seen the kings arms go through many many changes and many many management teams.
i returned to the kings arms just as the current birmingham team had taken over. i was pleased to see that they were taking the pub forward, the food was good, the beer was great, the atmosphere was amazing. the place looked great. however things didnt feel right or nice in there within a few months. there were stories of confrontational landlords, financial difficulties and internal politics. then out of the blue their manager ups and leaves (stories of him being attacked by the landlord - although the "official" word was he had familiy commitments). one of the worst things to happen to the pub. the manager was personal, socialble and was possibly the only one who knew what he was doing and enjoyed doing it.
who am i to get involved - a loyal customer thats who. i can say that this pub now has regained its charm, the food is great but dont expect a loyal welcome. its quite clear that we go there to line the pockets of the landlord who makes no attempt to hide this fact. the pub and landlord has lost several key customers due to confrontation and i am now thinking of joining them
