The Fishermans Joy, Selsey

Fantastic pub. Clean, stylish, friendly and good food. Brilliant beer garden..so big. The food is very reasonably priced with a good, interesting choice. Keep up the excellent work.

I've just re-read my review and I stand by it but what I would say is that all opinions are purely personal. What I like in a pub may not be someone else's choice. If I was asked where was good and cheap to eat this pub would not be my recommendation. I don't believe that I have made sustained attacks on the pub but I have noted when ownership/management changes. Personally I think the last landlords did more to keep it as a friendly village pub. I shall not comment any more on this place but shall leave you all to the biased and misspelt rantings of Satta.

Oh dear it would appear that Satta has a personal link with this awful 'pub'. They have posted no reviews on any other place but seem to have an enormous amount of knowledge about only one place. Travel around Satta and you will find that this place in incredibly average and over-priced. Obviously you have not spoken to any of the locals recently. One couple who have been there to eat 3 times said that twice it was mediocre and the last time was dreadful and the food was cold. This particular couple were great supporters of the last owners but have vowed not to eat there again.
If you don't like locals pubs then this is the place to go. Locals are seriously discouraged. Dull and boring people can be found behind the bar including one bloke who is nearly 70! I wonder if that is Satta? This is not a man's pub any more it's too pretentious. Go to The White Horse in Lindfield or the Stand-Up Inn in Lindfield. Proper drinks and proper punters and food.
