The Grove Tavern, Walthamstow

Needs a refurb to clean it up. Fantastic old building with great big windows let down by being a bit grim on the inside....no doubt some chain will snap it up in the future, which will be a shame. Please please please repait this pub a lighter colour on the inside!!

I nice pub spoilt by the over emphasis on pool tables and TV football - always seems a bit rowdy but otherwise has the potential to be nice...

The Goose, Walthamstow

it's only redeeming feature is its toilet after the half hour journey from Oxford Circus....
Typical station pub which seems to smell of disinfectant and stale cigarettes everytime I go in (and no it isn't me....)

Give it a very wide berth...
