This was a good pub in the 1970s/80. Unfortunately it went downhill from then. It was demolished a couple of weeks ago (September 2013). Houses are due to be built on the site. A pity I remember the pub being built late 1950s or early 1960s I think.

The Gate Inn, Harrowden
Another good pub gone. Last I saw of it (March 2013) it was boarded up with tiles missing off the roof. Used to do a very good pint of Abbot Ale.
