we like to visit different towns using our senior citizen's bus pass. We always visit a Wetherspoons if there is one. We have been to Derby Leicester Coalville Melton Mowbray Chesterfield Coventry Lincoln Worksop Skegness Mansfield Hucknall Arnold Mapperley Carlton And of course the four in Nottingham. Our Favourite is The Thomas Leaper in Derby. Quiet, Clean, friendly staff and a bit up market to most of the others. Ron

The Thomas Leaper, Derby

The Thomas Leaper is one of the cleanest pubs we have been in. The food is usually very good and the Benchmark red wine one of the best. You in Derby should be proud of this establishment because we travel from our grotty pubs in Nottingham to visit our Favourite on regular occasions.

However we now have the T. B I. at Trent Bridge which is in a class of its own but we are having to pay extra for the privilege. so as well as this we will still be travelling by Red Arrow to visit you. Ronaldo.

Joseph Else, Nottingham

Rather dingy downstairs, which tends to reflect the customers. However the upstairs is brighter with a better class of people and has already been said a good view of the square
