Original Bay Horse, Horwich

A reasonable pub if you like the expansion of prices every couple of months and the lager to be very over priced, on the other hand the real ale and guest beers are favorable and the selection of spirits and bar snacks are well varied. The regulars are friendly and very welcoming apart from a couple who let the side down, the staff seem to change every so often as does the landladys temprements. The age range is well hodge-podge yet this doesn't seem to change the ambience or surroundings plus, I've never seen any serious fights or disruptions.

Bridge Inn, Horwich

I think there is a lot to bed said for the Bridge. Yes it's a tad pricey, and sometimes Christine/landlady gets drunk (hello? she lives in a PUB!!) but it still has atmosphere, and is a lively place to be most nights. I like it, and considering Dave and Christine have been there for about 14 years, they can't really be doing much wrong. If you don't like it, don't go, simple. x
