Pub re-opened at the end of July following a major refurb that has given it a fresh, modern look. Food is fantastic. Great menu selection & good value for money especially the Sunday carvery. Great selection of cask ales to go with the usual lagers. All kept in splendid nick by the young landlord who is determined to make a go of this once shabby & run-down establishment. Sky sports for the footy fans & a great sound system via the internet. Efficient, friendly staff who know how to pull a decent pint. A vast improvement on the old Rife's.
