My elder daughter told me about this pub so went along with husband and teenage daughter.
Have mixed view. Husband said real ale wasn't real as it was fizzy. he tried two and disliked them both.
The staff were unfriendly and almost rude.
cappuccino had no froth or chocolate but was changed without comment. Throughout our meal bottles were chucked with a loud clang into a bin next to our table despite our loud ouch! each time.

When we left, no 'Goodbye, thank you' as is usual for pub landlords when guests depart (particularly as we spent 50 pounds in just over an hour).

The food was good. Great veggie choices. The desert we ordered was unavailable.

My youngest daughter and her friends (mostly 18 year olds and respectable) tried to get into the pub for the quiz night and were prepared to sit in the family room but were basically told to get out. They were going to drink soft drinks and are clearly well spoken and polite. The response of the staff when dealing with these young people was short sighted. They go to the Ramblers Rest in Coulsdon for quiz nights without any problems.

So... Probably won't go back and can't recommend due to attitude of staff. When
this changes may reconsider and tell others, until then, a wide berth.
