The Pavilion, Battersea

well what can i say. Had my uncles Howards funeral there on friday, was with my family including his twin brother Roy. The landlady wanted �400 for a buffet, we said "how much", she said, "well i've gotta make some money". So we decided to do it ourselves. Got to the pub, no tables available to put food onto, had to move peoples drinks to put the food on, this is all after the funeral. We wasnt even approached by the landlady at all, they ran out of glasses during the evening, and to top it all, charged my family �4 each to get in. Nice people!!!!! Piss up in a brewery comes to mind.
The only good thing about the evening was little Tommys 70th birthday, the Flying Saucers playing, and the people who attended and made it a memorable evening for Roy and the rest of my family.
So to sum it up, unless you are going to see a good band playing there, dont bother. There is no atmosphere ,and the landlady is not approachable.
