Food is good and you get plenty for what you pay for. There is a but though. The restaurant can struggle quite badly if there is a large party booked so food can be late and cold. There can also be insufficient staff when it is busy, and the bar can be left with no service as the staff get pulled off the serve in the restaurant. Draft products also seem to be under stocked so can frequently run completely out.

The Stand Up Inn, Lindfield

I will also have to say that both the managers have put in such an effort over Christmas. It was a very sad loss of a of a much liked member of staff and the village community who was not just a colleague but a close dear and friend of the managers of the Stand Up Inn.

Through out the festive season I have seen many new faces in the Stand Up whom have also found the place to be worm and welcoming. As a result they are paying more frequent visits and joining in with the friendly lively conversation of the other frequenters of the pub.

As ever the product that is served is always maintained to the highest standards. With the Dark Star Hop Head and the Partridge (Dark Star Best) many a persons favourite, plus the extensive enjoyable range of guest ails that are on offer for the customer new and old to enjoy. Plus a diverse range of enjoyable Ciders and Perry�s

The managers also work hard to ensure that Stand Up contributes to the local community entertainment with the live music on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Also there is the fortnightly Monday quiz with Pamela.

I would also have to mention the team that the managers of the Stand Up Employ. As them selves are equally committed to the quality of the product and service but also committed to the community spirit of the village, always a pleasure to speak to and bring a smile.

The Stand Up Inn Linfield is a credit to the Dark Star name.
