The Boot, Weymouth

I be a cantankerous old man who be very fussy bout the ale I do sup and the company I keep so twill come as no surprise to the majority of people writing on this site that I use the Boot on a reglur basis. New management trying very hard to run a locals pub which is also attractive to visitors, from near and far, by serving ales, ciders and lagers(yuk) in perfect condition to the best of their ability, ok there are the odd occasions when a beer is off but this is usually rectified in a few minutes.
New at the Boot is the Wednesday night quiz, real cash prizes apparently, which I witnessed some of and found entertaining...hopefully this will grow and thereby introduce more people to properly kept products.
Only criticism I have re "Lazy Staff", which is far from the truth, is the use of mobile phones whilst people are waiting, there seems to be one frequent caller who takes precedence over eveybody....pet hate.
