The Robin Hood Inn, Droitwich

Traveling down the M6/M5, we were looking for somewhere close to a motorway junction that would give us an alternative to service stations! The Robin Hood is only a few hundred yards off junction 5 of the M5. Staff were friendly, the food was good and the service really quick. Would definitely recommend.

The Hesketh Arms, Standish

Can't speak for the beer but definitely avoid the restaurant. In this day and age, a 15 minute wait for a table followed by a 35 minute wait for the meal isn't acceptable. I wouldn't mind but the place wasn't even particularly full and the food was average pub fare when it came. If can't be bothered to put enough staff on then suggest you look for somewhere else that will.
