If you are going to leave a comment like that about my local, you could at least have the decency to leave your real name. But your type don't have the guts. Do they?

You can say what you want but the bottom line is that the Nelson is a great pub. Ok, it has lost some of its 'traditional' touches, but this only has a positive effect. Comfy seats, a modern edge, a wider range of drinks all help to make it a great place to enjoy a drink at ones leisure. The new owners are really making a go of the music scene there as well and they have some great acts performing various nights.

The new Nelson arms is a pleasent, chilled out place with a friendly landlord and bar staff who are all willing to assist in any way they can upon my visit. I'm sure it will be no different and I think some people can get caught up in the past.

I don't know what pub that anonymous guy was talking about, but it sure wasn't the Nelson arms I know.
