The White Hart, Waterloo

such a shame to read what's happened to this pub. used to frequent this place regularly in 96/97 when it was much more of a proper local. many eventful lunchtimes/evenings were had here, maybe most memorable playing paul 'oasis 'discoverer' mathur in the final of the pub's pool competition (back when it had a table). i lost fair and square but he generously donated his prize of a bottle of jack daniels which more than made up. classic example of old pub done up to meet modern standards whilst simultaneously losing all charm whatsoever...?
