The Naval and Military, Taunton

This pub is part of the Taunton CCTV network, think that says it all, the regulars seem to have a special knock to gain entry.

But from what I have seen in the way of people trying to walk home from this pub it's a place where a drinker can truly get s**tfaced to oblivion.

Can you judge a pub by it's smell outside? oddly I have noticed that the Perkin is begining to smell like the naval and military, has anyone else?

The Racehorse Inn, Taunton

Best pub in Taunton, best pint and great courtyard area in the Summer.

Once the smoking ban comes in I'll be spending more time drinking at the Racehorse as that's the only thing that currently spoils it.

If you can get a window seat it's a great place to watch the chav boy racers drive their crappy cars up and down East reach hill.
