The New Inn, Waterley Bottom

Spent half an hour looking for the pub, arrived at 1355 (I really do mean 1355, not 1405) to be told the kitchen was closed. No greeting, no apology, no pleasantries, just a shrug of the shoulders, a grunt, and a "if you're after food, the kitchen's closed". They were quite busy, two more groups had followed us in, and at least one of them was also looking for food. There were four people milling around behind the bar, not doing an awful lot. I would have even been happy with something cold. Their loss, I won't bother again.
