The Pledwick Well Inn, Pledwick

Had 12oz rib eye with hand cut chips(often wonderd if that makes them better ) watercress and peppercorn sauce...nothing taxing there eh!!! Well you're wrong! who ever made the sauce failed to pause by the peppercorn jar, so it was a taupe coloured creamy bland nothing....now to the steak - medium rare rib eye.. ...you can grill it, pan fry it,bbq it....but these people seem to prefer steaming or so it seems! utter rubbish! I took home the ample remains and gave it to the dog (she agreed with me!!) however if you wish to pay �20 quid for a plate of well cooked chips get yourself down here!!!!
