The Adam and Eve, Mill Hill

We were out for a long Saturday walk and the wife was being all girly & wanted to go to the three hammers - now an embers inn - no kids. Back to the the adam & eve just before 2 (when they stop serving food). Although the pub decor is a bit dated I was pleasently surprised by the staffs helpfulness, the food portions were generous for the Kids - they get smaller (not much) adult meals. Highly recommend the pub and will definetly go back

The Mops and Brooms, Borehamwood

This was our local lunch time pub before the refit. Today was my 1st visit after the �1/2m re-furb.
The decor etc was all very nice and completely new layout.
Beer wasn't cheap - nearly �3/pint. Ordered a simple jacket potato - �5 which took nearly an hour to arrive, had to take away in the end as did many others. was nicely done though!
Definetly trying to go more upmarket as the food prices were far more reasonable before.It maybe nice new and shiny but until they can speed up the kitchen service and do something about the food prices they will probably find that good reviews are few and far between.
