I just spent a wonderful sunday morning at the Landseer. Coffee and the papers to begin, followed by a perfectly cooked rib of beef, and a nicely spicy bloody mary to wash it down. Finished off with hot chocolate fondant and another coffee. I love the fact that i feel so welcome here even when i come on my own. Just as looked after as all the couples and families that use this place at the weekend. Just what a good local should be, a place for all! They have a separate dining area but serve food throughout, and what with the welcoming service, not to mention the open fireplace, you feel like you are in someones home. A credit to the management (a Spanish guy i think) that this place hits the nail on the head. Well done!
