Have tried hard to make it work,shame as owner very nice, apart from the wine which is not very good

It is not the owner that is the problem, it's the gang that stand in the corner, very intimidating, loud and the language is awful. The pub on the bridge is nice.

I do agree about the South London Characters, all using bad language and does make you feel a little nervous! Shame for a nice pub as it used to be quite busy with nice atmosphere, now it just seems a bit of a shamble.
Food is not too bad though, and bar staff do try and be pleasant.
