The Queens Head, Hammersmith

As Lucy said below, this place SHOULD be great - with nice decor and the massive garden. We even had very nice meals.

We just spent a nice sunny Sunday evening there with a few beers & were repulsed by the staff. They don't care, don't not seem bother and are just plain dismissive of customers.

Never again & I recommend you go to the The Old Parrs Head on Blythe Rd nearby instead.

The Beehive, Walworth

Great pub: quick & friendly staff, good beers (warm & cold), fireside seating, outdoor seating, great food.

I'm actually unsure how this pub exists, tucked away in terrible Kennington/Walworth it has a really charming atmosphere and is never too crowded. Thankfully the potato heads from the overhanging council estates seem to find Monahan's round the corner more enticing.
A gem.
