The Salehurst Halt, Robertsbridge

Tuesday lunchtime visit with quite a few people there already to eat. The specials board had a Mexican flavour and we choose from that. Very tasty too. Three real ales, Harveys Sussex, Dark Star Summer Solstice and Thornbridge Kipling. The Summer Solstice was an excellent beer for a summers day.

The Royal Oak, Tunbridge Wells

Called in today having heard excellent reports on the real ales. Harveys Best, Larkins Original and Porter along with Dark Star Hophead were available. [the Porter was in excellent condition - shame I was driving]

The food menu was somewhat restricted due to the snow a deliveries but was perfectly adequate and of very good quality when it arrived Will definitely return.
