The Black Lion, Hammersmith

I love this pub! As a pregnant woman who still likes to socialise it is wonderful to know that pubs like this still exist in London. It is already a 'smoke free' pub making it comfortable to sit in. The staff are friendly and chatty, the decor is quaint and relaxing and the overall ambiace is welcoming. The food is just wonderful and so obviously totally fresh - yes you pay a tad more that in 'chain' pubs but I don't think there was a microwave in sight. There are a range of board games available to pass the time and if the weather is nice then there plenty of space outside for sitting in the garden by the river. A great pub and well worth a visit!!

The Boaters Inn, Kingston Upon Thames

Great summer pub! I love the Jazz on sundays although this is really popular so it can get busy (but this can only be a good thing). The food is pretty good and quite reasonably priced.
The great thing about this pub is being able to take your drinks out onto the big common behind the pub when the weather is good.

The Queens Head, Kingston Upon Thames

This is one of my favourite pubs in Kingston. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. Great for a weeknight out or a quieter weekend night out.
