The Swan Inn, Inkpen

We - a friend and myself - went for lunch to the Swan Inn whilst on a walk from Kintbury to Bedwyn. Whilst we were rather grateful to find a blazing fire to warm up and a general welcoming atmosphere, we were seriously disappointed with the food. The roast was superbly bland - after having read recommendations in the walking guide and having checked the rather promising looking website, we were really looking forward to a decent lunch. The second 'surprise' came with the bill: �23 for a roast, a pudding and a pint. Shame for the place, as with the attached organic shop it seems like they should have a recipe to success.
