Leaping Salmon, Berwick upon Tweed

Often pay a visit to Berwick and usually have a couple of pints in this establishment. Good selection of beer and has always been well kept when I've visited. On my last visit I had a couple of pints of Bass which was spot on. As my wife is not a drinker the addition of coffee is a real bonus for us. She had a cafe latte which she said was excellent. A pint of Bass and a latte for �2.25. Now that's value. Give it a try.

The Trent Bridge Inn, West Bridgford

It has to be said, not my type of place. Nitrokeg beer and pretty souless. On my last visit had a bottle of some tasteless lager, one game of pool and left for the excellent Southbank Bar.

Have to agree with views of previous reviewers. A class act. Great beer, pleasent staff, good food and all the TVs you'll ever need to watch the football and cricket.
