The Boaters Inn, Kingston Upon Thames

In relaton to the previous post about The Boaters, may I firstly take this opportunity to apologise for your wasted journey. I am the drummer that runs Blues at Boaters, and Andy was indeed scheduled for an appearance on the 28th, however due to unforeseen circumstances he and one of the other musicians became unavailable, and without suitable notice to book anybody else, we felt it better to cancel the gig than to try and bodge an act together for the night. Andy has played an integral part of Blues at Boaters for the last 2 years since it's inception in July 2009, appearing countless times and always giving a great show. He will be appearing again at Boaters in the near future in between touring with Grammy Nominated artist K'Naan and his other work commitments. At no point has The Boaters, or would it ever, advertise having a named artist appearing if they were not intending on doing so, this particular week in question was an unfortunate circumstance which could not be avoided. I again apologise for the inconvenience caused, but hope to see you again at one of the fantastic Blues at Boaters nights, and may I also recommend the Live Sunday Jazz, in it's 21st year this year.
