johnmichael34 - you want to get out more if you think this is as good as a bar can be... unless you are one of the chavs that AutumnBanter refers to...
It has been going strong for over ten years but not run the current owners - it used to be really good value when it first opened but slowly the prices have risen, the quality has dropped and its no longer a restaurant but a bar that does average food. Strange the AA don't mention that 'award' on their own website.
Oh and maybe the reference to a stabbing was either about the guy who was hit on the head with a rock or the shooting - take your pick...
