Thoroughly endorse the previous comments. Lovely food - I had fresh soup follwed by delicious chicken. The menu does bias towards carniverous (e.g. not that much choice for vegetarians) but it's the sort of (rare) pub where I'm sure they would go out of their way to oblige anyway. Quiet, unrushed atmosphere and one where you are made to feel genuinely welcome.

The Duke of Cambridge, Tilford

An excellent pub with attentive and pleasant staff. The food isn't the cheapest around but then the quality is good and it still represents value. Have eaten there alone and with the family so my definite recommendation is not a 'one off'.

The Good Intent, Puttenham

Friendly staff and a good selection of beer but the food was definitely not what I'd expected (either from previous experience or the other reviews). Large portions but very average quality and distinctly tired (e.g. not fresh) looking, stale and overdone. To cap that, one of our party was ill afterwards and I can only honestly ascribe that to what he ate, which was different to the rest of us.
