Firsty sorry. There must of been a mistake regarding the chips on our behalf, and we are sorry for this.

Regards to the Sunday, we and all our customers believe that 8.95 for a roast dinner is excellent value, especially when we cook everything ourselves and nothing is bought in. Yes there will be a wait when we are busy and this is clearly displayed on the menu before ordering. We are a village pub with a emphasis on freshly cooked food, and it is not dinged in a microwave therefore taking longer. We do everything we can to reduce the
waiting time.

In response to alasdairh. The customer was treated like this becuase he was extreamly rude when he first complained, shouting and swearing at staff. We will not tolerate this. The police were nearly called due to his actions. Three chefs, all aproved the bread in which we cook over 50 each weekend (our first complaint in about 300 so far and counting). The customer was told he was not welcome back. Please sir learn some manners.

It is the Sun Inn's policy not to chase these reviews, however on this occasion we felt the need to clear the air and tell people why we responded in this way.

In response to yog. We sincerely apologise that your evening was not as you liked. The person behind the bar had recently been trainned, and unfortanatly did not confirm to our strict standards. Once again please accpet our apologies.
