Dear Woohoo78, I am sorry to hear that your most recent visit to the Rising Sun did not meet the expectations of both parties. All of our staff are trained to be attentive and sympathetic to our customers needs and therefore I am pleased to hear that you did experience this, although it would appear perhaps they were slightly eager on this occasion. May I take this opportunity to ask for a little more information, such as the date and approximate time of your visit and I will speak to the staff on duty at that time, both in the bar and in the kitchen to ascertain what happened, leading to your disappointment. It is a real shame that you felt that you were unable to bring this matter to our attention on the day itself as we would have been only too happy to help put things right at the time. Sadly that was not to be. However, I would be only too happy to discuss this matter with you in person and hopefully rectify any negativity you may feel towards the pub's food service. Dear Foxxymoron, as manager of the Rising Sun, I will always allow my customers to wait for a taxi within the pub. With closing time on a Saturday at 12.30am and drinking up time at 1.00am I will reasonably allow customers to wait a short time after this. Your taxi had still not arrived by 1.30am and as I�m sure you can imagine, at the end of a busy Saturday, I do need to prepare the pub for Sunday lunch, clean, cash-up and of course get a few hours sleep. Closing the blinds and turning off the lights is a normal part of our closing procedure and it is therefore unfortunate that you feel that that you had been turfed out, but closing time had come and gone and I do have to abide by the law. I�m sorry that you feel you were treated unreasonably.
