The Red Lion, Barnes

I see the Red Lion has just had quite an exstensive paint job, looking good , must be doing OK if they can afford that. This pub is slowly becoming quite an iconic landmark of the area. Putney is now almost devoid of anything decent, forget Hammersmith if you want class, and Richmond is a nightmare to get to and from. Four well kept real ales were available, Guinness was first class and washed down my rock oysters a treat.I will return as I fancy a long lazy day in that garden in the summer...or two !
