It's May 10th 2011 so time for another review i think. I'm sat in the pub now enjoying a pint of Trade Winds (3.50). They didn't mind giving me a taster, though it was a tiny shot. There are five ales to choose from, no great surprises for the area, but better than most places. Also plenty of European lagers so plenty for everyone.
I'm here in the middle of the afternoon so can't really comment on the ambience as there are only a few people here.
The music is quirky and the decor feels like it is trying also.
Food menu is trendy pub fare but all sounds pretty good and reasonably priced for the area.
Would try it in the evening if i was in the area.

The Bree Louise, Euston
It's the afternoon again and i'm out away from work for another beer.
Wandering the streets exploring the area i stumbled upon the Bree Louise. From the outside it is a fairly non assuming place with a mix of people sitting outise enjoying a drink.
As you open the door to enter you are greeted by a carpet that has had many years of service and probsbly enough beer spilt on it to rupture an elephant liver. However, the inside doesn't smell stale or musty. It is very much a rinkers pub with no fripperies or music playing to keep your mind occupied. Sit down with the paper or a friend and enjoy it for what it is, a traditional pub, warts and all.
There are around 10 ales on at the moment and the pint of Junction i have is kept well and tastes great. Plenty of ciders to for those that like them.
I was not refused a small taster of my chosen ale, though it was in a tiny thimble sized 'glass' so it was not posible to get a real taste of what was on offer. That said other places won't even allow a tiny taste.
You can reserve tables (sat next to one) and they are chatting about how busy the place gets so that would be helpful for those that plans things.
Avoid sitting near the toilets, the smell of 'perfume' is pretty strong lol
Will be back and hopefully with a friend so we can try out a good few beers.
