I was rather surprised that a Fullers pub served a pint of London Pride so cold on a wet September evening that the glass was covered in condensation. The main gripe was with the food and the service however. Having selected a dish with "fresh cut chips" from the menu, I was most unhappy to be served what were clearly frozen chips. When I queried this with the manager he insisted that they were freshly cut each morning. Patent nonsense, and the waitress had admitted as much previously. No chance of us returning here. It was also apparent that the manger had favourites amonst the customers, he fawned over some and was most abrupt with others.
