The Railway, Kew Gardens

Mixed reports coming back from the refurb, live in Richmond myself but thought I'd give it a try as its Fullers. Well, it is not like any other Fullers pub I've ever been in, they usually try and keep them fairly pub looking ! On first walking in it's a cross between a sports club shower area and a 19th century lunatic asylum - too many tiles !! Beer - usual selection of Fullers ales and unheard of overpriced lagers. Food - mediocre, desperately trying to be something it's not. Service - hordes of them, but some look about 12 and the old ones from the Railway are as bad as they were then.
Overall, looks like a lot of money spent (loads of stuff will get stolen) but not what Kew needed and will be empty in a couple of months......back to the Princes Head then.
