Lifeboat Inn, St Ives

What a pity that since January's refurb the dreaded TV has taken the bar over. Sunday afternoon and Cahooty who were booked to play were cancelled so that footy and rugby could be shown.Full volume on the Tv competing with piped music and from where I stood very little interest in the game.I hope this isn't the shape of things to come, all the way from London hoping to see the band too. Ho hum. Beer was still good, though food finished at varying unpublicised times.

Lifeboat Inn, St Ives

Spent a wonderful winter weekend in St Ives, much of it in The Lifeboat Inn. Great food, reasonable prices,excellent pint(s) of Tribute and live music on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. Good atmosphere and friendly welcome from the gorgeous Debbie (I think) and her team. Make sure you visit it if you're in St Ives.
